Family Pictures

We got our family pictures done! Taylor was an angel, super smiley the whole time. I think Stephanie got some great shots! I'm sad she's moving to California, she's a great photographer. Be sure to check her out: Stephanie Hyde Photography

Taylor: Six Months

Oh my goodness. This girl is so huge! Six months! Half a year! What the what? She started solids this month, has really mastered the art of rolling (she's all over the place), she likes to shake her toys, can sit pretty well on her own (definitely needs a spotter still), nursing well, starting to love books (like her mommy) and is just so active (like her daddy). Super smiley, giggly, and talky.

Loves her elephant, and her monthly pictures! OH and her daddy. He was standing behind me. :) We end up in this chair a lot during the day, I nurse her here (she gets distracted everywhere else), and she's really started letting me read to her. I love it! She's also really cuddly and will put her head on my shoulder. It's pretty stinkin' cute.

Seriously. Daddy's girl. She'll roll around on me, but not really like she does on daddy. It's so so cute. I love seeing the two of them together. Happy girl right here!

FINALLY. She's okay with the car. If she's over tired, it can be bad, but not like before. Thank goodness for that. I've actually been out a lot more now that she doesn't scream the whole way--we've started to regularly go to play group and on shopping trips on the weekends. She even spent a whole day shopping at the outlet mall in Albertville (my new favorite spot to shop by the way).

This girl loves Pandora. When I turn it on, she gets the biggest grin on her face. It's my go-to if she's especially crabby. We try not to do it too much as she really likes to watch the TV, and we're trying to do no TV for her. Does Pandora count? I hope not...she stops watching after awhile, and when one of her favorite songs comes on she'll get a big smile on and look at the screen. It's pretty adorable.
She really likes toys that make noise. This one that her Grandma and Grandpa Schaefer gave her is on of her favorite sources of entertainment.

This girl loves tags, give her a toy with one, and that's what she'll grab first and put in her mouth. This picture makes me giggle every time, she looks like a little puppy.

Taylor sure can scootch around, sometimes she'll wake up and not make a noise, and then I hear a happy squeak and come into this predicament. At least it doesn't make her mad! ;)

She loves her nana. Nana sent me this while I was at work. Oh and she likes monkeys, she's got like 4 or 5 I think. Loves them all, too (especially their tags).

Just some piano time while Auntie Amber was in town. She loves music. Her favorite songs this month are 'Roll Over', 'Monkeys on the Bed', 'Hokey Pokey', and 'I like to Move It (Move It!)'.

We also started her on solids this month, she likes oatmeal, peaches, squash, but doesn't seem to be the biggest fan of peas...we'll keep trying. :)

Taylor is a much better sleeper this month, blessing her mommy with some almost through the nights. She loves to chew on fingers, talk, and practice sitting up (hasn't quite mastered that yet--she always tips over because she wants to be moving...not sitting. haha).

This really has been a fun month for us watching her grow, she's at such a fun age, trying new things. Now that she's more mobile, she also is better at playing independently (Pandora does usually have to be on). And that about wraps up month six! Stop growing little girl!
